“The grace of today” is an expression taken from Josefa Segovia’s spiritual testament, a handwritten page dated 25 March
1957, four days before her death.
They are words that express the gift of an entire life, her own. At the same time, they offer inspiration for the future of the spirituality of many generations.
The writings of Josefa Segovia (1891-1957) allow us to see how the Word of God shaped her life and the life of those who were the beneficiaries of her spiritual communication. Her "living the Word of God" has been chosen as the central reference for these pages. This selection of her spiritual writings is published in anticipation of other opportune critical editions of her abundant written works. Organized around the seasons of the liturgical year, these writings are offered to the public as a
sample of her unmistakable faith experience, the gift that she cherished the most throughout her life and that sustained her human and spiritual adventure. It remains an open invitation for those who come in contact with these pages.
