This book evokes the lived experience of rooting the charism of the Teresian Association in India. It collects, with scientific rigor, the historical development of events that take place in a context of an extraordinary profusion of ethnic groups, languages, religions, cultures, customs and traditions, as well as the daily life of the members of the Teresian Association, an International Catholic Association of the Laity. Over 50 years that, described with simplicity and realism, transmit the strength of a charism, the work of St. Pedro Poveda, unique in the Church and new in the country.
The mission aimed at bringing about transformation by promoting human and Christian values, was carried out in the field of education at different academic levels, both in urban as well as rural settings, and often in vulnerable areas and sectors.
