IT IS LATE, BUT IT IS OUR TIME
This book was forged and designed in recent years, but it actually grew out during the confinement resulting from COVID-19.
It is not only a reflection on the event itself and of what we could learn from it, but also a look at the underlying causes, aiming at alerting us of the urgency and seriousness of the current situation: It is late.
At the same time, the author wants to join her voice to the ones of many others, that warns us to making us aware of the urgency of undertaking deep changes to save the life on our planet and our species on it: It is our time.
Our generation has to take responsibility. But we need to rush. We are still on time; it is still possible to undertake those changes. These pages don’t express defeat; they are a voice that calls us to a proactive and engaged hope.
EMMA MARTÍNEZ OCAÑA is Bachelor in History and Spiritual Theology. She has worked as professor of Psychology of Religion and Integration and psycho-spiritual maturity at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas. Individual and group psychotherapist, she directs spiritual exercises and runs psycho-spiritual integration workshops. She is a member of the Theresian Association, of the Association of Spanish Theologians and of Women and Theology. She collaborates regularly with specialized magazines and is the author of five other books in this same collection.
