María Josefa Segovia Morón (Jaén, October 10, 1891 - Madrid, March 29, 1957) studied at the Escuela Superior de Magisterio in Madrid. In 1913 Pedro Poveda invited her to take over the direction of the Santa Teresa Academy. She was the first primary school inspector in the province of Jaén and the first General director of the Teresian Association.
